Nancy Simone

1979 graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Specialty certification in Hand Therapy obtained in 1992. Currently registered nationally with NBCOT and licensedthrough Colorado DORA.

Primary focus of practice since 1985: outpatient hand and upper extremity rehabilitation with a special interest in custom orthotic/splint fabrication.

Resident of Grand County since 1990, commuting to Denver area for employment at severalprivate hand therapy clinics until 2014. Currently providing hand therapy services at MPMC Granby office.

Most enjoyable part of job: Establishing connections with patients and assisting them in reaching their potential through education and “healing touch”.

Favorite things about living and working in Grand County: Beautiful, wide open spaces and opportunity for solitude; A quieter pace at work (compared to Front Range/city clinics) which allows for more individual treatment time with patients.

Favorite past times: Family time, backpacking in the canyons of Utah, hiking above timberline, alpine skiing, Grand County Blues concerts, pilates class, knitting cables and baking pies.
